You can choose a yoga therapist who is graduated and recognized. There are various options within the recognition. For example, in our filter you will see the abbreviation IAYT. This stands for International Association of Yoga Therapists. Therapists with 550 or 850 hours of training can register with this association.

There are also yoga therapists with an Ayurvedic background. It is possible that they register with IAYT, but there is also NAMA or National Ayurvedic Medical Association. These therapists are generally more focused on Ayurveda.

It is very special to be part of a case study for students. Since Yoga Therapy is an in depth and extensive study with medical undertone, our students need to practise. Often this means three case studies per subject. Please know that these students are certainly not completely without experience. Students who have opted for a Yoga Therapy training do so from an existing background with a yoga teacher training in any case, but often also a background in sport and/or healthcare. In addition, students are intensively supervised and before every case study they have had an in-depth module regarding condition or situation. What to Expect

[vc_column_text]A case study mostly consists of 4 sessions. The first session is an oral intake, the second session a physical intake and after that you will receive two tailor-made sessions. The sessions may not be more than 35 euros or 38 dollars. an appointment takes about an hour and a half. (this may be different if it does not concern training that is accredited by the IAYT)
