Registration policies

Before you apply for membership, please familiarize yourself with the registration policies. The specific rules depend upon the level of membership. These policies cover eligibility, cancellations, membership terms, and code of conduct.

General policies

Community
We ask you to be non-judgmental not only to clients but also to your fellow therapists. You are expected to be courteous when disagreeing with others in our Facebook forum. Even in a well-constructed, thoughtful text, a single expletive, hostile comment or personal insult may lead to removal. www.yogatherapistsinternational.com  reserves the right to remove any texts, post or image for any reason. We are obviously keen to keep the removal of posts to a minimum, but we will take the necessary steps to ensure our website and forum is as welcoming and conducive as possible to helpful discussion and to serving the best interest of all visitors.

You are not allowed to advertise any kind of products or offers. If you like to sell anything related to yoga please contact info@yogatherapistsInternational.com. 

Conditions for acceptance

Our international register of yoga therapists only includes practitioners who meet our exact standards and requirements. Before an application for a membership can be definite, it must meet the following criteria. When it does not, payment will be promptly returned.

Education
For a full subscription one of the following is required 

• a fully completed minimum of 500+H or 800+H IAYT schooling. 
• a registration at NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association) 
• a registration at CYAI (Council for Yoga Accreditation International)
• a minimum of 500H yoga teacher training including a demonstrable background in healthcare. (e.g. nursery, physiotherapy, psychotherapy or similar)
  * An examination might be part of your acceptance.
• a minimum RYT500 with a demonstrable diploma of a yoga therapy focused teacher training. * An examination might be part of your acceptance.

For a student subscription the following is required 

• A demonstrable study in a yoga therapy focused teacher training.
  you can use our student discount for a maximum of 2 years
  

Code of Ethics

Membership Terms

We offer 4 memberships

1. Santosha – Free membership
   A free plan is and will remain free at all times until the subscriber decides to choose another plan. The free plan has several limitations. These restrictions focus on the uses and capabilities of Yoga Therapists International. These restrictions can be adjusted at any time by Yoga Therapists International.
2. Svasyaya – Student membership
   Membership for students has a maximum of 2 years. This subscription has a number of restrictions that are mainly aimed at information that is only suitable for yoga therapists. These restrictions can be adjusted at any time by Yoga Therapists International.
3. Dharana
   This subscription has a number of restrictions. These restrictions can be adjusted at any time by Yoga Therapists International.
4. Shamadi
   Full subscription without any limitations. Yoga Therapists International reserves the right to change the content of this subscription in the future

Monthly Payment
Applies to memberships where payments are made every month during the duration of the membership term.

You understand and agree that you have committed to a contract. And you agree to membership fees payable by you at the rate offered at purchase time every month.

Yearly Payment plan
You agree to pay the membership fee in full for access to our website for a period of 1 year according to the plan you choose at time of purchase.

Cancelation
Monthly plan – you can cancel your monthly plan at anytime before the end of that month.|
Yearly plan –  You can cancel your yeraly plan 30 days befor the end of your yeraly plan

Free Trials

Your Yoga Therapists International membership may start with a free trial. The free trial period of your membership lasts for 30 days, or as otherwise specified during sign-up and is intended to allow new and certain former members to try the service.

Free trial eligibility is determined by Yoga Therapists International at its sole discretion and we may limit eligibility or duration to prevent free trial abuse. We reserve the right to revoke the free trial and put your account on hold in the event that we determine that you are not eligible. Members of households with an existing or recent Yoga International membership are not eligible. We may use information such as device ID, method of payment or an account email address used with an existing or recent Yoga International membership to determine eligibility. For combinations with other offers, restrictions may apply.

We will charge your Payment Method for your membership fee at the end of the free trial period and your membership will automatically renew monthly unless you cancel your membership prior to the end of the free trial period. 

It is very important to understand that you will not receive a notice from Yoga Therapists International that your free trial has ended and that payment for your subscription is due. If you wish to avoid charges to your Payment Method, you must cancel your subscription prior to midnight Eastern Time on the last day of your free trial period. You may cancel your subscription at any time as described in the “Ongoing Subscription and Cancellation” section of these Terms. We will continue to bill your Payment Method for your subscription on a recurring basis corresponding to the term of your subscription until you cancel or the account or applicable Service is otherwise suspended or discontinued pursuant to these Terms. To the extent subscriptions are offered in conjunction with purchases of, or payment for, third party products or services, you agree that Yoga Therapists International will not be liable to you for any claims arising out of or related to your purchase or use of such third party products or services. If you cancel your subscription during a free trial or while using a promotional code or other credits, cancellation may be effective immediately.
